SUSTAINABILITY
Champion/TTS is proud to be involved in a continuous sustainability assessment program through EcoVadis. This program is an evaluation of how well a company has integrated the principles of Sustainability and Environmental Health into their business and management systems.
These principles are essential factors in the corporate decisions Champion/TTS makes every day.
Since its founding in 2007, EcoVadis has grown to become the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 90,000+ rated companies.
The objective of the EcoVadis assessment methodology is to assess the quality of Champion/TTS’s sustainability management system through its policies, actions, and results. The assessment focuses on 21 issues which are grouped into 4 themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
The EcoVadis Sustainability Scorecard summarizes the sustainability rating and findings of TTS across four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. TTS received a score of 56 – placing us in the 73rd percentile for all assessed companies.
A licensed medal from EcoVadis was awarded to TTS for our performance in their rigorous assessment. TTS received the EcoVadis Silver Medal.
Because the EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment is an ongoing exercise, Champion/TTS will continue to improve upon our assessment.
The EcoVadis platform provides a comprehensive breakdown on areas of improvement. Each department at Champion/TTS is pushing to improve our environmental footprint, labor & human rights practices, ethics policies, and our sustainable procurement.
As strong as our overall score is, it’s even more impressive when compared to other companies in our industry. Within the transportation industry, the average EcoVadis score is 42. Champion/TTS's score of 56 places us near the top of all transportation companies assessed.
